Hoffmann, Inc. is a full-service, single source steel stack contractor for 25 years. We provide our clients with custom design and engineering, project management, metal fabrication, and site erection services. We have designed and provided free standing, guyed, and tower supported stack for many different types of industries. Our steel stacks feature single and dual wall construction with single or multiple flue designs and an option for insulation and cladding. Hoffmann’s one source capabilities also include the design, fabrication, and installation of ductwork, including all structural steel, supports, expansion joints, platforms, ladders and handrails.

Our Design/Build Team consists of in-house registered professional engineers and design technicians who have specialized experience in the design of steel stacks. Steel stacks are engineered in varied configurations to meet ASME STS-1 2006 standards and offer structural integrity to match the conditions in which the stack will operate.

Hoffmann can take your exhaust stack project from the design phase through final installation. We call this the “One Contractor Advantage”.

Hoffmann’s state-of-the-art fabrication facility has over 70,000 square feet committed to custom steel fabricated products and steel stacks. Hoffmann’s fabrication team is comprised of AWS certified welders and a full-time AWS certified weld inspector. Our fabrication capabilities allow us to provide stacks in carbon, stainless, Cor-Ten steel, and fiberglass. Paint preparation and coatings are also provided with our facilities. Zinc coatings are suitable for temperatures up to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Our industrial services crews provide off-site fabrication, concrete construction, and field erection services through the continental United States.

A large electric and natural gas energy company relied on Hoffmann to fabricate two carbon steel stacks, 165’ high x 19’ diameter and were shipped by barge in four 82’ sections. These larger stack sections reduced on-site erection time. Our steel fabrication facility is located near the Mississippi River which allows us to resourcefully ship by barge, truck, or rail.
