Structural Steel Fabrication
Structural steel fabrication is the process of bending, cutting, and forming steel so the processed sizes and shapes can be welded to form its own structural product or an integrated piece in a larger structure. Hoffmann has the skilled and experienced reduction specialists and fabricators who can take raw steel and transform it into heavy industrial products.
Hoffmann offers two forms of steel for custom fabrication: structural and plate. Structural steel is available in many different shapes. The most common shapes are HSS (Hollow Structural Sections) that are manufactured hollow steel sections, typically of circular, rectangular, or square cross-section, such as beams, channels, and angles. Steel plate is also available in many thicknesses and sizes in rolls or rectangular sheets.
Bring us your ideas and our engineers and drafting technicians will develop and design your product with the appropriate steel types and shapes.
